6 Houses of Bondage

This series is based upon Leopold Von Sacher-Masoch's analysis of the so called "6 Houses of Bondage".   They are Property, Money, State, War, Love, and Death. The Living Theatre created a series of plays based on these "houses" and their relationship.  For example, Property in the house of State, War in the house of Love,  etc.  There are 36 such themes to extract from this method. I wrote the music for the Living Theatre plays of that period.  I am working on a series of 6 paintings. One for each house.  I have done two so far.  The  House of Money and The House of Death.
